Saint John's Ceramics Class offering is featured in The Catholic Review's article "Archdiocese schools celebrate fine arts with unique programs." Our Ceramics Class, taught by Mrs. Bernadette Miller was first offered in the second semester of the 2022-2023 school year after raising funds through donations for the equipment and supplies necessary for this unique class. The ceramics studio supports diverse projects, from coil pots to seasonally themed creations, and students are encouraged to show their individuality through their art. The opportunity to learn and explore ceramics has inspired students like Brianna Russell, vice president of the SJCP National Art Honor Society, to develop her talents and envision a future as an art teacher.
